We have received some questions in the office regarding the MLS conversion and wanted to provide you with an update on where things stand as of today, January 9th.
A lot of work has been happening behind the scenes. Starting in mid-November, we began the process of sending our MLS listing, agent, and office data to CoreLogic to begin identifying property and user details. Your MLS staff has been working diligently with CoreLogic to ensure that no information will be missed throughout this process.
In December, MLS staff and CoreLogic began setting up MLS Reports, integrations with our 3rd party products (ShowingTime, Supra, zipForms, RPR, etc.), as well as identifying items to be displayed on the home page of Matrix. By mid-December we began creating a lookup for cities in the MLS (no more misspelled city names!) and converting all past listings to the new city format.
Since January has rolled around, things are continuing to pick up steam. In the first week and a half of the month, MLS staff is reviewing the MLS search field layout and 9 separate views for each class of listing. We have also been hard at work setting up the data feeds that your website vendors will use to begin pulling listing data. On January 9th, we began the process of setting up Western Upstate’s GoMLS Mobile App with work continuing on this throughout the rest of this month.
Upcoming dates for the conversion:
Beginning January 30th, the MLS task force along with the Board of Directors will begin review of the MLS system ahead of our systems running parallel with Paragon.
On February 6th, we will begin running Paragon and Matrix parallel with user access. During this time all search functions will be live, but no listing input will be available in Matrix.
We have a total of 9 training classes scheduled for the week of February 5th. Each class will be offered both on-site in our event and training center as well as in a live webinar format. If you, or any of your agents, would like to attend one of these sessions we recommend signing up as seats will fill up quickly (the online sessions are available for the first 50 registrants). Following this 4 week period of running Parallel, Matrix will be fully live on March 6th. At this time, all listing input will cease on Paragon and Paragon will no longer receive listing updates. During this week, beginning March 5th, we will offer a variety of training sessions and Open Lab sessions where you can meet directly with the CoreLogic training staff for help with the Matrix system.
