Reinstatement Change: Licenses not renewed by June 30, 2024, will lapse on July 1, 2024. Monthly Indicators U.S. existing-home sales grew 3.1% month-over-month to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 4.00 million, exceeding economists’ expectations and marking the strongest sales pace since August 2023, according to the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR). Falling interest rates late last year, coupled with a recent uptick in inventory, helped existing-home sales to climb following last month’s decline, with monthly gains reported in the Midwest, South, and West regions. Dear Supervisors,   In accordance with existing law and as approved by the Commission at the January 19, 2023, meeting, all licensees who do not renew their licenses by the listed expiration date will be lapsed in accordance with S.C. Code Ann. §40-57-110(D). Following the lapse of licensure, an individual with a lapsed license has six months to reinstate the license before cancellation (S.C. Code Ann. §40-57-110(E)).
