Live Online Classes

What is “live online” and how does it work?

Live online courses are offered as part of our professional development series. While the courses are being taught live at our association office, you can connect through a link provided so that you can watch the courses being presented. The software will also allow you to ask questions of the presenter during the presentation just like you were sitting in the classroom. It’s convenient, informative, and free.

 

Course A: Basics of SC Law and Buyer Agency – South Carolina Buyer Agent Training Series

This is the first part of a two-part course provided by SC REALTORS. This course is a look back at the basics of buyer agency and how SC law impacts its practice. Starting with the required paperwork for disclosure and documentation, it flows through buyer client selection, a basic buyer agency presentation, discussions regarding commitments and responsibilities of the buyer client, and the buyer agency agreement. Course B: Practicing Buyer Agency in SC – South Carolina Buyer Agent Training Series

This is the second part of a two-part course provided by SC REALTORS. This course focuses on the actual practice of buyer agency, including the duties of the buyer agent as stated in SC law, using technology and diligence in searching for properties, gathering information, drafting a buyer-friendly purchase offer, negotiating that offer, and working to close on behalf of the buyer client.
